HP and Dassault Systèmes will align future technology roadmaps to provide users with access to the latest design tools.
To enable a new era of innovation in 3D product design, Dassault Systèmes, a global leader in PC printing and printing and the 3D experience, announced a unique collaboration here on Monday.
The two companies aim to optimize Dassault Systèmes’ SOLIDWORKS 3D design and engineering applications to take advantage of the unique capabilities of HP’s Multi Jet Fusion 3D printing solutions.
âThe $ 12 trillion manufacturing market is undergoing a digital transformation and HP and Dassault Systèmes share a vision to change the way the world designs and manufactures,â said Stephen Nigro, president of 3D printing, HP Inc.
HP and Dassault Systèmes will align future technology roadmaps to provide users with access to the latest design tools integrated with HP âvoxel-levelâ technology, as well as design tools for new materials.
âWe are honored to unite the HP Multi Jet Fusion Platform with SOLIDWORKS ‘leading design platform and millions of users around the world to give creators the tools to create the next big innovations,â a- he added.
With this, designers and engineers can completely reinvent products, take advantage of new materials, escape the limitations of traditional manufacturing, and produce new products faster and more efficiently.
Millions of designers and engineers are already using SOLIDWORKS applications to quickly bring innovative ideas to market for new consumer experiences.
âInnovators are driving the renaissance of tomorrow’s industry, and additive manufacturing, new materials and the 3DEXPERIENCE twins open up a world of possibilities where they can test and create their concepts,â said Gian Paolo Bassi , CEO of SOLIDWORKS, Dassault Systèmes.
âOur investments in materials science, combined with HP’s open approach to materials development, are also key to accelerating the 3D printing industry. Together, we can develop the technologies of both companies, âhe added.
In addition to the HP Jet Fusion 300/500 series, HP also announced its new workstation, VR, and 3D printing and scanning products and services.
