Video game developer Mighty Kingdom (MKL) will launch its first console game, Conan Chop Chop, on March 1.

In partnership with Funcom Oslo, Mighty Kingdom has developed an online multiplayer action-adventure game using the world-renowned “Conan the Barbarian” intellectual property.

Both parties will share all of Conan Chop’s revenue after cost recovery, with a strong marketing campaign to come in the coming weeks.

In the game, players can take control of Conan and his friends as they battle the world of Hyboria to collect loot and ‘hack’n’slash’ through a wide range of battles.

This game will be available on PlayStation, XBOX, PC and Nintendo Switch.

The developers will showcase Conan Chop Chop with convenient access to events like Stream Next Fest starting February 21 as well as a limited demo release on the Nintendo Switch.

Although pricing has yet to be announced, Mighty Kingdom said it will be priced competitively for its market.

“Conan Chop Chop offers a unique Mighty Kingdom take on Conan The Barbarian,” said General Manager Philip Mayes.

“Funcom has been a fantastic partner throughout the development of our first console game, and we’ve created an experience that will appeal to a wide audience with an ESRB E PEGI rating of 7+ suitable for parents and children alike.

“Its launch represents the first step in our extensive pipeline of titles slated for release in FY22 and FY23.”

Mighty Kingdom ended the day 10.3% in the green with shares trading at 16 cents for a market capitalization of $25.69 million.
